Doctor Alexandra Evans

Alexandra Evans, commonly called "Sandra" by adults and "Sandy" by children, is the Senior Children's Minister at Disciples Church.

A 60-something retired elementary school teacher, she attended a Christian college. She started her career at the church as a sunday-school teacher in her spare time. Then she was promoted to head sunday-school teacher. When she retired from her ordinary teaching job, she was offered a position as a Children's Minister in the growing Children's Program at the church.

About a year ago she finished a Doctorate in Religious Studies, and was shortly thereafter promoted to Senior children's Minister. She is not recognized as a licensed minister by the State of Texas. As such, she can't perform weddings or funerals. Luckily, neither is in much demand in her position.
