Christopher, Archangel of Children

The Archangel of Children has relatively few angels in the United States. He reasons that while child welfare in Western countries is anything but ideal, the situation for children is far more horrific in the Third World, and so he concentrates more of his efforts there. His Servitors in the U.S. and other wealthy, progressive nations tend to be those who try to influence public policies and the politicians who shape them, while those in poorer countries are closer to the trenches, fighting for the safety of individual children.

This doesn't mean the only angels of Children active in the U.S. are hanging around state houses and courtrooms. Christopher is said to have a very dedicated team of Servitors fighting child pornography and sex slavery on all fronts, including in the U.S. where much of the money trail leads. An angel of Children encountered in Dallas/Fort Worth would most likely be one of these hunters of predators.

Christopher recently suffered a major embarrassment when his Servitor, Druiel, the Angel of Teenaged Death, became so badly dissonant he almost Fell and had to be recalled to Heaven to be stripped of his Word. This happened in Austin. The events have not been widely publicized, and no demons are likely to know about this yet, but any angels who have been to Heaven recently might have heard about it.
