Piquant

Piquant is an ultrachic Dallas nightclub and rock music venue located in Oak Cliff. Its two owners are Callie Phillippine and BradleySharp. Several times a month, it showcases Callie's band, ThePunishers.

Piquant, much as Hard Rock Café before her, maintains a very chi-chi image, with a clientele of the rich and famous and wannabes across Dallas and the Southwest, without having had to surrender its rock roots. The business sports three managers: Food Service is managed by Kim West, a former Brinker exec who was regional manager for Chili’s before getting involved in some personal issues that forced her resignation. The bar is managed by Marley Quinn, a naturalized Jamaican who managed bar operations at a number of island casinos before emigrating to America. Callie’s personal manager, who also manages the band and the entertainment at Piquant, is Angola Jackson, a hard nosed sistah who is ruthless at the negotiating table.
