Prospect

Mercurian of Destiny

Player Character played by Gypsy.

Role: - Chance Fisher Age: 24

Gender: Male

Previous Profession: Life counsellor at the Walter B. Haymore Foundation in Austin for a short time

Education: College (University of California at Berkeley, San Francisco, studied psychology), claims Sacramento as origin and accent.

Description: Chance stands just over 6’ with an average build. He looks used to the outdoors, quite tanned. His almost ‘rock star’ look is well supported by his ability to sing, play guitar and ride a motor bike but not all at the same time. Hazel eyes, full of depth, sit under a high intelligent brow. A long nose rests above a wide generous mouth. Certainly there is a touch of the college drop out to him.

Background

Newly fledged, Chance was sent to Austin, Texas, from California to take up work for a charitable foundation funded by a now dead Texan oil baron, Walter B. Haymore in his last days. The foundation is designed to help folks help themselves by giving temporary support, advice, even short term accommodation to help folks from all walks get back on their feet, sort out problems etc. The post Chance had accepted is of a 'Life Counsellor' who listens and provides what support he can, helping to find practical solutions like retraining, legal resolutions, reconciliations etc. The Foundation doesn't pay big bucks but they do provide free accommodation in one of their small apartments in return for his keeping an eye on those staying over for a time. He was also supposed to hold several counseling sessions a week and they would have provided other opportunities to earn extra money such as him teaching some classes in sign language. The Foundation was in fact a Trade operation.

However, Prospect had only been in Austin a day when things swiftly came to a head. Dominic did a sweep following the revelation of the scandalous treaty between angels and demons, and all Archangels were "encouraged" by Dominic to rotate any angels they'd had in Austin elsewhere and bring in some more seasoned, less corruptible Servitors. Not all the Archangels complied, but Yves did decide, maybe because of Dominic's request or maybe for his own reasons, that Prospect should leave Austin and go serve in Dallas. So he will arrive in Dallas, where he's to meet his new superior, a more experienced angel of Destiny who's been in the city a while.
